Hi! I'm Jennifer, owner of Lap of Luxury Petsitting. If you found my page, you likely believe, like I do, that pets are more than animals; they are family. I have been pet sitting professionally since 2015. Before relocating to Florida, I lived in a small rural town in the mountains of New Mexico and began caring for horses, donkeys, and chickens, as well as dogs and cats. I have loved animals almost from birth, when my mom's Siamese cat Ming protected me day and night. (My first word was 'kitty.") Since then, I have cared for and loved many types of animals and I am not afraid to get messy. I have mucked stalls, cleaned chicken coops, and administered many types of medications. I am comfortable and familiar with diabetic animals and have adminstered insulin as well as checked blood glucose levels. 

I am a member of Pet Sitters International and am a Certified Professional Pet Sitter through them. I have also taken Pet First Aid and Hurricane Preparedness Courses. I am fully licensed, bonded and insured. 

Both my mother and father volunteer as caregivers for my business and can sometimes fill in if I am booked. They also act as emergency contacts for me, so your pets will always be in excellent hands, even if something happens to me.
